The app also plays in the background if you turn the screen off or open another app and also you can control the app through the lock screen on your device!!

I bought this app two days ago and yet havent been able to use it. Once you buy the App, it downloads and allows you to access the list if Bible books BUT unfortunately as soon as you select a chapter, the App shuts down and kicks you out!! For the last couple of days Ive done nothing but try to get it to work. Ive shut down my phone and turned it on (thought maybe I had a memory issue), I got rid of the app and re-downloaded it again but still no go. Very disappointed.
